It was the second hottest day of the year so far in Roseburg on Tuesday.

Forecasters at the National Weather Service said the mercury reached 95 degrees at the Roseburg Regional Airport. July 16th had been the second hottest day of the year, when the high was 94 degrees.

Temperatures are slated to cool by about ten degrees on Wednesday and stay in the 80s through Saturday. Afternoon high temperatures are back in the 90’s beginning on Sunday and may get close to 100 degrees on Monday.
