An increase in fire danger has prompted the Coos Forest Protective Association to impose a Level 2 industrial closure for all lands protected by CFPA in the Curry County area.

Jef Chase said the Limited Shutdown prohibits the following from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.:

*Operation of power saws, except at loading sites

*Feller-bunchers with rotary head saws

*Cable yarding

*Blasting

*Welding, cutting or grinding of metal
