COVID-19 CLAIMS 7 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 269 AS OF TUESDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 7 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 269 as of Tuesday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 299 new confirmed and presumptive cases, bringing the state total to 15,139. The new cases include:

*67 in Multnomah County

*59 in Umatilla County

*40 in Marion County

*32 in Washington County

*18 in Malheur County

*15 in Clackamas County

*10 in Morrow County

*8 each in Jefferson and Yamhill counties

*7 in Deschutes County

*5 in Jackson County

*4 in Hood River County

*3 each in Douglas, Lane and Clatsop counties

*2 each in Baker, Harney, Josephine and Union counties

*1 each in Benton, Columbia, Coos, Klamath, Lake and Wasco counties

The new reported deaths range in age from 47 to 88. 3 lived in Clackamas County, with 1 each in Malheur, Multnomah, Washington and Umatilla counties.

OHA reported an update of 23 cases of COVID-19 at the Walmart Distribution Center in Umatilla County.
