A Roseburg man was jailed following an alleged harassment incident on Sunday night.

A report from Roseburg Police said at about 10:15 p.m. the 49-year old and a victim were involved in a physical disturbance in the 1500 block of Northwest Keasey. The suspect pushed the victim three times, causing her to fall into a wall, according to the report. It said the man took her cell phone and ripped the cords out of the home phone to stop the victim from making a call.

The report said the man was taken into custody and charged with harassment and interfering with making a report. Bail was set at $8.250.
