A Roseburg woman was jailed for an alleged assault on Sunday afternoon.

Information from Roseburg Police said at about 12:30 p.m. officers responded to a residence in the 2300 block of Glenmar for a report that the suspect was attacking a man during a disturbance.

The report said when officers arrived, the victim’s left eye was bloodshot, watery, and noticeably more closed than his right, impairing his ability to see. The report said the incident took place in the presence of a minor child.

39-year Chrystal Brazel was charged with felony assault and detained on $50,000 bail.
