COVID-19 CLAIMS 5 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 254

COVID-19 has claimed 5 more lives, with the state death toll at 254 as of Friday.

An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 307 new confirmed and presumptive cases, bringing the state total to 13,802. The new cases include:

*88 in Multnomah County

*39 in Marion County

*38 in Umatilla County

*37 in Washington County

*19 in Clackamas County

*12 each in Deschutes and Jackson counties

*10 in Lane County

*9 in Malheur County

*7 in Jefferson County

*6 in Morrow County

*4 in Coos County

*3 each in Douglas, Linn and Polk counties

*2 each in Benton, Columbia, Hood River, Klamath, Union and Yamhill counties

*1 each in Clatsop, Lincoln, and Wasco counties

The new reported deaths range in age from 35 to 99. One each lived in Wasco, Umatilla, Marion, Clackamas and Multnomah counties. All had underlying conditions, according to the OHA.
