2 NEW POSITIVE TEST RESULTS, 3 NEW PRESUMPTIVE CASES OF COVID-19

There are 2 new positive test results and 3 new presumptive cases of COVID-19 in Douglas County, as of Thursday.

An update from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said the total number of cases is now at 76. 64 are people with positive test results and 12 are presumptive cases. There has been 1 death. The update said after 109 days, the hospitalized Douglas County COVID-19 patient has been released from the hospital and is now in a rehabilitation center. 23 people are currently in isolation. 6,254 people have tested negative for COVID-19 in the county.

Once again, the majority of the new positives have been directly linked to travel outside of Douglas County, and especially those residents that have chosen to travel outside of Oregon, according to the update.

The next Douglas Public Health Network drive through testing clinic will be on Friday.
