A Roseburg woman was jailed for second degree criminal trespass and resisting arrest by Roseburg Police on Wednesday.

An RPD report said at 3:00 p.m. the 31-year old was transported by ambulance to Mercy Medical Center after she was found unresponsive near Roseburg High School. The report said medical staff did not know her identity as she would not speak with them or identify herself. The woman was cleared medically but allegedly became combative with staff when she was asked to leave.

The report said the suspect began throwing things at staff and eventually made her way outside where she sat on a bench near a tent. When security asked her to leave, she reportedly continued to be vulgar and argumentative with them.

Officers responded to the hospital and the woman allegedly displayed the same behavior towards them. When all attempts to get her to leave were exhausted, the woman was advised she would be arrested if she refused to leave. She didn’t leave so was arrested. While being taken into custody, the woman allegedly tried to fight with officers, but was eventually detained.

Bail was set at $7,500.
