Two men were jailed after a disturbance on the property of Mercy Medical Center on Wednesday.

A report from the Roseburg Police said at 3:30 p.m. one man instigated the dispute when he allegedly brandished a pair of pruning shears after which the other man reportedly grabbed and loaded his shotgun.

Both men, who are brothers, were detained for menacing. They were released later that day.
