COVID-19 has claimed 4 more lives, with the state death toll at 247 as of Wednesday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 272 new confirmed and presumptive cases, bringing the state total to 13,081. The new confirmed and presumptive cases include:
*59 in Multnomah County
*50 in Washington County
*38 in Marion County
*27 in Umatilla County
*24 in Clackamas County
*15 in Malheur County
*12 in Deschutes County
*9 each in Lane and Jackson counties
*6 in Yamhill County
*4 each in Douglas, Union and Polk counties
*3 in Morrow County
*2 each in Coos, Columbia, Jefferson, Linn, Lincoln and Wasco counties
*1 each in Baker, Benton, Crook, Josephine, Klamath and Tillamook counties
The recent deaths reported by OHA include the first Douglas County resident. She was a 61-year old woman, who tested positive on June 28th and died on Sunday at Covenant Hospital in Lubbock, Texas.
The other reported deaths range in age from 61 to 85. Two were from Multnomah County with one from Deschutes County. All 4 people had underlying conditions, according to the OHA.
