A Roseburg man was cited by police after asking to be arrested on Saturday night.

Information from Roseburg Police said at around 11:00 p.m. the 49-year old allegedly threw trash on the ground in the 500 block of Southeast Lane before making the request.

He was cited for offensive littering and was released.
