In the KQEN Cultural Spotlight:
The Art Gallery at Umpqua Community College will present the UCC Annual Student Art Show: A Virtual Exhibition, premiering on YouTube and Facebook on Tuesday at 2:00 p.m.
Each year the college’s Department of Performing and Visual Arts holds an exhibition of student artwork to celebrate and showcase the energy, effort and creativity of its students, according to a UCC release. The tradition continues this year, even though it is not being displayed in the physical gallery.
The 10-minute video will exhibit 62 works by 46 UCC student artists. The release said the exhibit will showcase the skills they gained in design, ceramics, drawing and painting classes.
