A 1994 green Jeep eluded a deputy from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office on Sunday night.

A DCSO report said just before 10:00 p.m. the deputy tried to stop the vehicle for traffic violations in the 1000 block of Tunnel Road in Glendale. The report said the vehicle failed to yield and a pursuit ensued. The deputy followed the vehicle until it hit the gravel part of the road and then continued to pursue it for another two miles.

The report said the deputy eventually lost sight of the Jeep and road conditions were too poor to continue, so the pursuit was terminated.
