Douglas County government has issued information regarding the 4th of July weekend.
County offices at the Courthouse, Justice Building, Courthouse Annex in Reedsport and other offices will be closed on Friday July 3rd in observance of the American Independence Day Holiday.
The landfill and transfer stations that are normally open on Fridays, will remain open this Friday but will be closed on Saturday. Transfer stations that are normally open on Sundays will be open this Sunday for normal business hours.
The Douglas County Museum will be open this Friday and Saturday but will be closed on Sunday as normal. The Umpqua River Lighthouse Museum in Winchester Bay, will be open Friday through Sunday for normal business hours.
All county parks, campgrounds, and boat ramps will continue to be open and accessible to the public for the entire 4th of July weekend.
