COVID-19 has claimed 5 more lives, with the state death toll at 202 as of Friday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 250 new confirmed and presumptive cases, bringing the state total to 7,818. The new confirmed and presumptive cases include:
*61 in Multnomah County
*39 in Washington County
*22 in Umatilla County
*18 in Marion County
*17 in Clackamas County
*13 in Malheur County
*12 each in Morrow and Union counties
*10 in Lane County
*6 each in Jefferson and Yamhill counties
*5 in Jackson County
*4 each in Benton, Deschutes, Douglas, Linn and Lincoln counties
*3 each in Lake and Wasco counties
*2 in Josephine County
*1 in Columbia County
Douglas County Public Health Officer Dr. Bob Dannenhoffer said that 2 of the county cases reported Friday were cases reported by the Douglas Public Health Network on Thursday.
The new deaths range in age from 74 to 96. 4 were women and 1 was a man. 3 were in Marion County with 1 each in Morrow and Union counties. 4 had underlying conditions. Additional information on 1 death is still pending, according to the OHA.
