MAN JAILED IN STOLEN VEHICLE CASE

A 35-year old man was jailed in a stolen vehicle incident on Thursday.

A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said a victim had spent the night at a friend’s house. When he woke up the next morning, his vehicle was gone. The report said the victim had left his keys in the vehicle. A neighbor reported that a side by side went up the driveway about 5:00 a.m. the next morning, and then came back down with the truck.

35-year old David Wright Jr. was arrested at about 11:00 a.m. He was charged with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, unauthorized entry into a motor vehicle, first degree criminal mischief, unlawful possession of methamphetamine and for a parole violation. Wright was held without bail.
