Oregon State Police Fish and Wildlife Troopers are seeking the public’s assistance regarding a doe being illegally shot in Douglas County.
A release said on June 17th troopers received information that two subjects had skinned a deer in a garage in Myrtle Creek. Troopers were able to identify the man and woman involved in a photo, but the doe was moved prior to their arrival.
The release said the suspects are uncooperative and it is believed that they dumped the skinned doe in the Myrtle Creek area with a bloody blue tarp.
Anyone with information regarding the case is urged to contact the local OSP office, or use the Turn in Poachers hotline at 1-800-452-7888.
The Turn in Poachers reward fund also offers cash rewards for information leading to an arrest or issuance of a citation for unlawful take, possession or waste of a number of game animals.
