A Myrtle Creek man was jailed after detectives investigated a report of an unexplained injury to a child.
Sergeant Brad O’Dell of the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said on June 17th they were notified that a 5-year old child had suffered an unexplained fracture to his femur. O’Dell said detectives conducted a thorough investigation and ultimately developed probable cause for the arrest of 32-year old Bronson Knight. The child was known to the suspect.
On Wednesday, Knight was arrested on charges of second-degree assault and first- degree criminal mischief. He was released from custody later that day.
