The Roseburg City Council is having an in-person meeting Monday night in the council chambers at 7:00 p.m.

The agenda includes a presentation from Anvil NW Destination Marketing regarding work it’s doing to promote tourism in the area.

The council will vote on bid awards for slurry seal and pavement overlay projects, set to take place this summer. It will also decide whether to approve the purchase of four new police vehicles.

A number of other items are on the agenda as well.

For social distancing measures, members of the public who wish to speak during one of the public hearings, or during the audience participation portion of the meeting, can do so by going to the conference room at the Public Safety Center. The meeting can be viewed on Charter Cable channel 191, or on the city’s Facebook page.
