A Roseburg woman was jailed on a theft charge on Wednesday afternoon.
A report from Roseburg Police said at about 3:15 p.m. the 58-year old was detained following an investigation of a physical disturbance that occurred two weeks ago. The report said it had been substantiated that the struggle was over a stolen dog in the courthouse parking lot. The dog was recovered and was not harmed.
The suspect was charged with first degree theft. Bail on that charge was set at $50,000.
