One person was hurt in a six-vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon on Interstate Five.

A report from Oregon State Police said just after 5:00 p.m. the wreck happened due to a heavy rain storm. The vehicles were northbound about a mile south of Clarks Branch Road. The drivers ranged in age from 19 to 80 and were from Myrtle Creek, Eugene and Portland.

The report said the driver taken to Mercy Medical Center had only minor injuries.
