COVID-19 CLAIMS 2 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL AT 173 AS OF FRIDAY

COVID-19 has claimed 2 more lives, with the state death toll at 173 as of Friday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 142 new confirmed and presumptive cases, bringing the state total to 5,377. The new confirmed and presumptive cases include:
*36 in Multnomah County
*29 in Marion County
*21 in Washington County
*14 in Lincoln County
*9 each in Clackamas and Polk counties
*5 in Umatilla County
*4 in Union County
*3 each in Columbia, Hood River and Wasco counties
*2 each in Deschutes, Jackson and Klamath counties
Oregon’s 172nd COVID-19 death is a 96-year old man in Washington County, who tested positive on May 10th and died on June 11th at his residence. He did not have underlying medical conditions.
Oregon’s 173rd COVID-19 death is a 68-year old man in Multnomah County, who tested positive on June 1st and died on June 10th at Adventist Hospital. He had underlying medical conditions.
