A Roseburg woman was cited for two counts of second-degree child neglect on Thursday morning.
Information from Roseburg Police, said at about 10:00 a.m. officers responded to a report of a 3-year old child wandering along West Harvard Avenue. The officer arrived and contacted two people who had taken the child out of the roadway and released him to his mother.
An investigation revealed the child and an 18-month old were left alone in the home while the woman allegedly drove her husband to work. Child welfare responded to the home.
The 30-year old woman was released after the citation was issued.
