COVID-19 has claimed 3 more lives, with the state death toll at 157 as of Tuesday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 33 new confirmed and presumptive cases, bringing the state total to 4,335. The new confirmed and presumptive cases include:
*10 in Multnomah County
*8 in Marion County
*4 each in Hood River and Washington counties
*2 each in Lincoln and Wasco counties
*1 each in Linn, Benton and Umatilla counties
Oregon’s 155th COVID-19 death is a 36-year old woman in Multnomah County, who tested positive on May 31st and died the same day at Adventist Hospital.
Oregon’s 156th COVID-19 death is a 66-year old woman in Multnomah County, who tested positive on April 1st and died on May 22nd at her residence.
Oregon’s 157th COVID-19 death is an 81-year old woman in Washington County, who tested positive on April 6th and died on May 26th at her residence.
All had underlying medical conditions, according to the OHA.
An outbreak of COVID-19 cases has been reported at the Bob’s Red Mill in Clackamas County. State and county public health officials are working to investigate the outbreak and protect the health of workers, according to the OHA. The outbreak investigation started on May 27th.
