To protect the health and safety of its employees and the public, the Oregon lottery has temporarily closed the Salem and Wilsonville offices.
Spokesman Chuch Baumann said with Phase 1 Reopening taking place across the state, some players seeking to claim a lottery prize have assumed that the lottery offices are open. He said the department is continuing to monitor the COVID-19 situation closely. At this time, there is not a set date for reopening, but he said they are working on a plan that would keep the players and staff as safe and healthy as possible. Bauman said with the offices closed, players can fill out a claim form they can find on the Oregon Lottery website: https://oregonlottery.org/about/claim-prizes. After filing out the claim form, players can mail in the signed ticket and claim form.
Bauman said players who have winning tickets of $50,000 or more must make an appointment to come to the Oregon Lottery office in Salem to claim those prizes.
