Voters in the City of Canyonville said no to being annexed into the Oregon State University Extension Service District on Tuesday.
A proposal to approve a maximum tax rate of 65 cents per $1,000 of assessed property value went down to defeat by a margin of 59 percent to 41 percent, as of Tuesday night.
