Jeff Merkley will go up against Albany’s Jo Rae Perkins in the race for the U.S. Senate in November.
Perkin’s beat out Roseburg resident Paul Romero Junior 49 percent to 30 percent in the GOP Primary . Robert Schwartz got 11 percent while John Verbeek received 8 percent.
Merkley was unopposed on the Democratic side.
