A 58-year old man was jailed after 1 to 2 pounds of methamphetamine was allegedly found on Monday.
A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said a vehicle was stopped for traffic violations, about eight miles south of Canyonville. The report said the vehicle was towed as neither the driver nor the passenger had a valid license or insurance on the vehicle.
When the vehicle was inventoried, the report said a deputy located pipes, glass tubing, filters, a shotgun, and a container full of a white crystal substance that later allegedly tested positive as being methamphetamine.
58-year old James Buschmann was charged with unlawful manufacturing, delivery and possession of meth. He was released from custody later that day.
