COVID-19 has claimed 2 more lives, with the state’s death toll at 140 as of Tuesday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority reported 33 new confirmed cases and 8 new presumptive cases, bringing the state total to 3,726. The new confirmed and new presumptive cases include:
*12 in Marion County
*9 in Multnomah County
*6 each in Deschutes and Washington counties
*3 each in Umatilla and Yamhill counties
*1 each in Curry and Jackson counties
Oregon’s 139th COVID-19 death is a 70-year old woman in Umatilla County, who tested positive on May 4th and died May 16th at Good Shepard Health Care System.
Oregon’s 140th COVID-19 death is a 69-year old man in Linn County, who tested positive on April 7th and died May 17th at his residence.
Both had underlying medical conditions, according to the OHA.
