TWO CITED ON LITTERING CHARGES

Roseburg Police cited two people on littering charges on Monday.
A report from Roseburg Police said at 9:00 a.m. a 28-year old and a 51-year old were contacted at a camp they set up under the Fowler Street Bridge.
The report said there was almost no visible ground through all the trash that stretched all the way down to the river. Trash had been thrown up into the trees as well.
The pair was cited for depositing trash within 100 yards of waters, for offensive littering and for prohibited camping.
They were released after the citation was issued.
