COVID-19 CLAIMS 3 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL NOW AT 127

COVID-19 has claimed 3 more lives, raising the state’s death toll to 127 as of Saturday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority said there are 79 new confirmed cases and 13 new presumptive cases, bringing the state’s total to 3,160. The new confirmed and new presumptive cases include:
*37 in Marion County
*24 in Multnomah County
*6 each in Washington and Clackamas counties
*4 in Umatilla County
*2 each in Jefferson, Linn, Polk, and Yamhill counties
*1 each in Benton, Clatsop, Coos, Deschutes, Hood River, Lane, and Malheur counties
Oregon’s 125th COVID-19 death is a 76-year old woman in Clackamas County who tested positive on April 8th and died on May 8th at Legacy Emanuel Medical Center.
Oregon’s 126th COVID-19 death is an 81-year old man in Linn County, who tested positive on May 1st and died on May 2nd at Samaritan Albany General Hospital.
Oregon’s 127th COVID-19 death is a 92-year old woman in Polk County on May 1st and died on May 7 at Salem Hospital.
All had underlying medical conditions, according to the OHA.
