COVID-19 CLAIMS 3 MORE LIVES, STATE DEATH TOLL NOW AT 124

COVID-19 has claimed 3 more lives in Oregon, raising the states death total to 124 as of Friday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority said there are 75 new confirmed cases and 5 new presumptive cases, bring the state’s total to 3,068. The new confirmed and new presumptive cases include:
*30 in Multnomah County
*13 in Marion County
*9 each in Clackamas and Clatsop counties
*8 in Washington County
*3 in Umatilla County
*2 each in Lane, and Polk counties
*1 each in Deschutes, Linn, Morrow and Wasco counties
Oregon’s 122nd COVID-19 death is a 51-year old man in Marion County, who tested positive on May 3rd and died May 6th at Salem Hospital.
Oregon’s 123rd COVID-19 death is an 80-year old woman in Marion County, who tested positive on April 21st and died May 6th at Santiam Hospital.
Oregon’s 124th COVID-19 death is a 71-year old in Multnomah County, who tested positive on April 23rd and died on May 5th at Providence Portland Medical Center.
All had underlying medical conditions, according to the OHA.
