COVID-19 has claimed 2 more lives in Oregon, bringing the state’s death toll to 115, as of Wednesday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority said 70 new confirmed cases and 7 new presumptive cases have been reported, bringing the state’s total to 2,916. The new confirmed and presumptive cases include:
*24 in Multnomah County
*18 in Marion County
*7 in Polk County
*6 in Washington County
*4 each in Clackamas, Jefferson and Umatilla counties
*2 in Lane County
*1 each in Baker, Benton, Deschutes, Lincoln, Linn, Wasco, Columbia and Yamhill counties
Oregon’s 114th COVID-19 death is an 88-year old man in Multnomah County who tested positive on April 27th and died on May 4th at Adventist Medical Center.
Oregon’s 115th COVID-19 death is a 95-year old man in Polk County who tested positive on April 27th and died on May 4th at Salem Hospital.
Both had underlying medical conditions, according to OHA.
