A Myrtle Creek man was arrested after crashing his vehicle early Saturday.
A report from Oregon State Police said the wreck took place at about 1:00 a.m. when the driver was attempting to exit Interstate Five northbound at Tri-City. The report said upon contact, the driver showed signs of impairment and the trooper detected a strong odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from the man’s breath.
The report said the man was very agitated, was not cooperative, and began to resist when told he was under arrest. Another trooper and a deputy from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office assisted in getting the 34-year old man into handcuffs.
