COVID-19 has claimed 3 more lives with 51 new cases reported in Oregon as of Friday.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority said that raises the state’s death total to 86 and the total number of cases to 2,177. The new cases include:
*20 in Marion County
*14 in Multnomah County
*8 in Washington County
*5 in Clackamas County
*2 cases each in Lane and Umatilla counties
OHA said a case originally reported as a Douglas County case on Thursday was later determined not to be a case. It was subtracted from Thursday’s total and the total number of cases in Douglas County went down by 1 to reflect that change.
*Oregon’s 84th COVID-19 death is an 86-year old man in Multnomah County who tested positive on April 14th and died on April 20th at his residence.
*Oregon’s 85th COVID-19 death is an 80-year old man in Multnomah County who tested positive on April 12th and died April 19th at his residence.
*Oregon’s 86th COVID-19 death is an 89-year old man in Linn County who tested positive on March 15th and died April 22nd at his residence.
All had underlying medical conditions, according to OHA.
