NO NEW CASES OF COVID-19 IN DOUGLAS COUNTY AS OF WEDNESDAY

April 22, 2020 5:50 p.m.
No new cases of COVID-19 were reported on Wednesday in Douglas County.
Information from the Douglas County COVID-19 Response Team said the number of positive cases remains at 23. Of those, 14 have recovered. 2 remain hospitalized in different hospitals. There have been zero deaths and 743 people have tested negative for COVID-19.
The Douglas Public Health Network has held 14 drive through clinics since March along with testing being done in local hospitals, urgent care facilities and other clinics. DPHN now has enough of both personal protective equipment and testing supplies to continue the drive through clinics for the next several weeks, eliminating one more barrier to testing. The turn-around time for testing results has also been streamlined, now averaging 2 to 3 days, according to DPHN.
