COVID-19 has claimed 1 more life in Oregon, with the death toll from the virus now at 75.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority said 47 new cases were reported Monday, bringing the total number of cases in Oregon to 1,956. The new cases include:
*13 in Marion County
*10 in Clackamas County
*9 in Washington County
*6 in Multnomah County
*2 in Linn County
*1 case each in Benton, Douglas, Klamath, Lincoln, Umatilla, and Yamhill counties.
A case previously reported in Jackson County was transferred out of state, reducing the cumulative statewide cases by 1.
Oregon’s 45th COVID-19 death is a 45-year old man in Marion County, who tested positive April 14th and died on Saturday at his residence. He had underlying medical conditions.
