A Roseburg man was jailed on a strangulation charge early Tuesday morning.
A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said at 12:20 a.m. deputies were sent to a report of a physical altercation in the 1000 block of Fairhill Drive.
The report said both subjects were intoxicated and admitted to using methamphetamine. It said both subject’s stories were different regarding how much force the suspect used during the altercation.
28-year old David Blowers was detained for felony strangulation. After arraignment Tuesday his bail was reduced to $30,000.
