Staff with the Roseburg Public Library continues to provide drive-up service for patrons to pick up physical materials every Thursday from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Director Kris Wiley said to take advantage of the option, cardholders should log onto their accounts and place holds at: https://roseburg.biblionix.com/catalog/ using their card number and password. Residents can also call the library at 492-7050 or email: library@cityofroseburg.org to receive assistance.
Wiley said staff will pull requested items from the shelves, check them out to cardholders and prepare them for pickup. Thursdays from 3:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., patrons can enter the library parking lot from the Fowler Street side and drive up to the main door. Staff will facilitate the handing over of materials. People are asked to remain in their vehicle and follow the posted instructions in the parking lot.
Wiley said staff will not handle returned materials during the drive-up service. Patrons are asked to continue using the outside book drop.
The library’s digital platforms remain available 24 hours a day. Go to www.roseburgpubliclibrary.org to find out more about how that process works.
