COVID-19 has claimed 2 more lives, with 90 new cases being reported in Oregon.
An update from the Oregon Health Authority said the statewide number of cases is now at 826. The new cases include:
*26 in Multnomah County
*22 in Washington County
*13 in Marion County
*5 each in Jackson, Clackamas, and Deschutes counties
*3 each in Klamath and Lane counties
*2 each in Josephine, Benton, and Union counties
*1 each in Yamhill, Lincoln, and Hood River counties
Oregon’s 20th COVID-19 death is a 61-year old man in Washington County. He tested positive on March 21st and died on Wednesday at Tuality Healthcare.
Oregon’s 21st COVID-19 death is a 91-year old woman in Marion County. She tested positive on March 31st and died Wednesday at her residence.
Both victims had underlying medical conditions.
The update said a case reported on Tuesday to be a Douglas County case turned out to be a Lane County case. The total number of new cases in Lane County is now 3 to reflect that change. However, the case is not reflected in the total number of new cases statewide.
