REDEEMER'S HOLDING BLOOD DRIVES TO GIVE BACK TO THE COMMUNITY

April 2, 2020 3:45 a.m.
Redeemer’s Fellowship in Roseburg will host two blood drives with the American Red Cross at its Worship Center at 3031 West Harvard.
A release said the drives will be on Monday April 13th from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. and on Monday April 20th from 1:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.
Executive Pastor Mike Kildal said “hosting a blood drive coincides with Redeemer’s core values of giving back to the community”. He said at this critical time, donating blood is considered an “essential service” in the state. Kildal said “with a simple blood donation, we have the ability to help save the life of someone who could be a co-worker, loved one or neighbor”.
Due to COVID-19, the Red Cross has instituted special “social distancing” protocols to protect donors, staff and volunteers. For more information or to make an appointment, go to www.redcrossblood.org.
