1 person who tested positive for COVID-19 in Douglas County in the past week is now hospitalized. County Public Health Officer, Dr. Bob Dannenhoffer said the person is one of the 4 already announced positive cases in the county.
A release from Douglas Public Health Network said any additional identifying information of the individual is not being released. DPHN launched their investigation in the past few days, and close contacts of the hospitalized case, have already been notified by public health.
In the county, 173 people have tested negative for COVID-19. There have been no recovered cases of COVID-19 in the county as of yet.
