There are 2 new deaths, and 57 new cases of COVID-19 in Oregon as of Wednesday, according to information from the Oregon Health Authority.
That brings the state’s total to 266 cases of COVID-19. 2 of the new state reported cases, were reported on Tuesday by officials with the Douglas Public Health Network and are from Douglas County.
Of the other newly reported cases:
*20 of them are in Washington County
*11 from Marion County
*8 from Multnomah County
*5 from Linn County
*4 from Clackamas County
*2 from Benton County
*1 each from Josephine, Jackson, Lane, Lincoln and Yamhill counties
Oregon’s 9th COVID-19 death was an 80-year old woman from Clackamas County who tested positive on Monday and died on Tuesday at Legacy Mt. Hood Medical Center.
Oregon’s 10th COVID-19 death was a 73-year old woman in Marion County. She tested
positive on Sunday and died on Monday at Salem Hospital.
Both had underlying health conditions, according to OHA.
