MAN JAILED FOR STRANGULATION, HARASSMENT

A Myrtle Creek man was jailed after an incident on Saturday night.
A report from Myrtle Creek Police said at 9:30 p.m. an officer heard a disturbance coming from a residence in the 500 block of Northeast Chestnut. Following an investigation, 39-year old Michael Sampson was taken into custody. He was charged with a strangulation-felony count and for harassment.
Sampson was initially detained on $52,500 bail.
