Monday night’s Roseburg City Council meeting will be live streamed.
Communications Specialist Eric Johnson said residents can see the meeting by going to www.cityofroseburg.org and clicking on “Council Videos”.
City Recorder Amy Sowa said the City is taking concerns regarding COVID-19 seriously and implementing measures to reduce potential exposure for staff and community members. Sowa said the meeting will be held in the council chambers as usual, but social distancing guidelines have been implemented by providing additional space for the council, staff and for the audience. Sowa said the total number of seats in the room will be kept to 25, following the Governor’s guidelines.
Any overflow will be directed to a separate space where TV monitors will display the meeting and a phone will be available for audience participation. That space will also have a limit of 25 people.
Residents that want to participate in the public comment portion of the meeting are asked to submit their questions via email to Sowa at: asowa@cityofroseburg.org by 4:00p.m. Monday.
The meeting will also be shown live on Charter Spectrum channel 191.
It will begin at 7:00 p.m.
