Following federal, state and county guidelines, Camp Millennium is postponing the Millennium Magic fundraiser, originally scheduled for April 3rd.
Camp Director Mindy Bean said as a camp for children who are dealing with a cancer diagnosis, the organization knows first-hand the importance of making sure they do everything they can to help the community. Bean said the postponement is “the right thing to do”.
The new date is slated to be September 25th and will still be held at the Douglas County Fairgrounds. Tickets already purchased will still be good for the new date.
Bean said 78 campers are already registered for this summer’s Camp Millennium.
