The Roseburg location of Planet Fitness has closed for the next two weeks.
A company release said the COVID-19 situation and its impact on members, team members, and communities is unprecedented and changing rapidly.
The release said “the health and well-being of our Planet Fitness Family is, and has always been our top priority”. It said that given the increased threat from the virus and out of an abundance of caution, the Roseburg facility temporarily closed on Tuesday night.
Members who have paid their monthly dues will have their payment credited for the number of days closed, on their next monthly bill, once the facility re-opens.
The release said members should download the Planet Fitness app to access fitness content and more than 500 exercises that can be done at home.
