No cases of COVID-19 have been diagnosed in members or staff of the Cow Creek Band of Umpqua Tribe of Indians.
A Tribal release said to do its part in keeping members, patrons, employees and the surrounding communities safe and healthy, the Tribal Board declared a state of emergency on Monday. The release said they have instructed the Cow Creek Government Offices to remain open for the time being, with some departments reducing staff or working remotely so that key services can be maintained.
The release said the Board will continue to work with public health experts and agencies to monitor the situation and provide further updates.
