One man was hurt in a single vehicle wreck in a rural area on Thursday night.
A report from the Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said just before 11:00 p.m. an 18-year old man was driving up Kent Creek in the Tenmile area, along with three male passengers. As he was coming down the mountain in the woods, the vehicle hit a log at about 20 miles per hour, and made a 180-degree turn causing the vehicle to roll once.
The report said no one in the vehicle was wearing seat belts. A 19-year old passenger was taken to Mercy Medical Center for his injuries which were not life threatening.
The report said the driver showed no signs of impairment and a friend had towing tools and was able to get the vehicle off the mountain.
