A blood drive on Friday aims to help the regional supply level which is at an emergency low.
Annette Casper, Regional Director for Oregon of Bloodworks Northwest told News Radio 1240 KQEN that a number of blood drives around the Pacific Northwest have been cancelled due to concerns over the coronavirus.
The non-profit will hold a blood drive from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. at Mercy Medical Center. Those who want to donate can simply show up during that time. They can also make an appointment by calling 800-398-7888 or go to www.bloodworksnw.org.
Casper was on the Morning Conversation Thursday on News Radio 1240 KQEN. That interview is a KQEN Podcast at www.541radio.com
